Inspiration

Seeing as Jim has taken it upon himself to tackle NaNoWriMo this month it got me thinking about inspiration and the people and subjects that we all refer to when in need of creativity. From favourite authors to actors and artists, we all find something we love and feed off of others to help drive our own work. Recently I’ve found it very difficult to focus on artwork through lack of inspiration and so have gone back to reading some of my favourite books, mainly the work of Charles Bukowski. I don’t seem to have a knack for writing, well not just yet anyway so I’ll keep it short and sweet and leave you with an image of one of my favourite authors. What I want to know is what inspires you? What is it about your favourite book, film, image or author that you love and why does it keep drawing you back in? Maybe there’s a quote that you relate to or a moment that an actor captures perfectly which resonates with you. Whatever it is let me know because there can never be too much inspiration. I need as much as I can get my hands on.
